In Tilburg, you will find numerous terraces. Settle down on one of the terraces in the Piushaven where you overlook the pleasantly busy harbour. Hire your own boat and go exploring by water. Visit Stadsbrouwerij 013 for a fun guided tour or taste various special beers on the terrace. Even closer to the shopping street, at Piusplein, you will find even more cosy terraces where you can enjoy yourself. Highly recommended is Doloris' roof terrace. Here you have great views over the city while enjoying a drink or dinner. Have you ever heard of Doloris' Meta Maze? A veritable maze through 40 rooms of surreal art.

About a 20-minute drive from Tilburg, there are two great fun parks where you can go for a great day out with the whole family. One of those parks is The Efteling. In the wonderful world of De Efteling, you will make the most wonderful memories together. For the real daredevils among us, there are the high-speed attractions Joris en de Draak and Baron 1898, among others. Do you dare? Walk through the Fairytale Forest and bump into your favourite fairytale character.

The other park is Safari park Beekse Bergen. Here you imagine yourself in the world of wild animals. Come face to face with giraffes as you drive through the enclosure. You can also choose to explore the nature on foot or by boat and spot around 150 animal species. A perfect getaway for a weekend away Brabant with the whole family.

You may have heard of it, the Railway zone. It is an area next to the railway and near the station. A rough area where you can enjoy murals, restaurants and the many events organised here. You will also find the LocHal, World Building of the Year. A gigantic building that includes a library and lunch facilities. But, there are even more beautiful spots in Tilburg. Consider, for instance, the Nature Museum whether it Textile Museum. The latter is highly recommended if you want to learn a bit more about Tilburg and its history. After all, Tilburg is originally a textile city. You can also taste the typical Tilburg drink at the Schrobbelèr factory.
